Inspirations 2023

Inspirations 2023 was immensely successful with participation from nearly 40 exhibitors from India, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan, making it an indispensable and leading platform for connecting the niche community of distinct boutique properties from the Indian subcontinent with the travel trade in the UK and Europe.

This was unquestionably a record year as the desire for travel was definitely back whilst the travel and tourism industry showed great resilience and displayed incredible confidence.  With a large attendance of nearly 200 tour operators, it was enough proof of the vital need to re-unite, meet face-to-face, and build connections. Varied formats like speed networking sessions, working lunches, and informal get-togethers allowed ample time for meaningful engagements, B2B connections, and great conversations. The best of tour operators in the UK, Paris, and Munich came from far and near which greatly emphasized the relevance of this annual event.

In London, the event was held at St John’s Waterloo. Apart from B2B meetings and networking, there was also a panel discussion with special guests Monisha Rajesh – British journalist and travel writer, and Marc Sethi – Freelance Commercial, Editorial, and Documentary Photographer, as they deep-dived into the concept of ‘Slow Travel’, what it embodies, and how relevant it is right now? The discussion was moderated by William Dalrymple, one of Britain’s most successful travel writers and renowned historian.

The second leg of Inspirations 2023 was held at Sois Blessed, a boutique store in the heart of Munich attended by over 40 tour operators and agents from Munich and around. With the boutique well-filled, the immensely productive day was full of meaningful meetings, serious note-takings, and plenty of business card exchanges. The day started with B2B meetings and ended with a wonderful evening of Indian canapés and drinks over lively conversations.

The final day of Inspirations 2023 held at Anciens Bains Douches, an upmarket salon at Saint Germain converted to a captivating Indian evening, was nothing short of spectacular.  It was another wonderful day of meeting new partners, discovering market news, and plenty of networking with more than 60 tour operators and agents in attendance supporting Inspirations 2023.
